Resumen
El objetivo de este trabajo es ofrecer un análisis formal del fenómeno denominado “leísmo” (v. Fernández-Ordóñez 1993, 1999) desde un enfoque microparamétrico de la variación (v. Biberauer et al. 2010, Kayne 2000). Plantearemos la hipótesis de que este fenómeno ilustra un proceso sintáctico de “desplazamiento de caso” que provoca que un argumento pase de recibir caso estructural a recibir caso inherente (v. Rezac 2008). Además, defenderemos que este proceso presenta una estrecha relación con la preposición dativa que aparece en el Marcado Diferencial de Objeto (v. López 2012).
ABSTRACT
This paper offers a formal analysis to so-called “leismo” (v. Fernández-Ordóñez 1993, 1999) from a microparametric perspective (v. Biberauer et al. 2010, Kayne 2000). Specifically, we argue that leismo is a case of accusative displacement. This process submits that an argument that is supposed to receive accusative obtains a different (oblique) Case. We also establish a direct connection between the dative preposition of Spanish differential objects and the dative Case behind leismo.
