Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the specificity of hegemony as a concept that was defined by Antonio Gramsci and themed by authors who have regained Gramsci ́s thinking to examine its utility to analyze subnational realities. We focus on political permanence of the Unión Cívica Radical in Río Negro State during the period 1983-2011, serving primarily to the leadership of Horacio Massaccesi from 1987-1995. This paper will discuss the drifts of the concept of hegemony in fullneoliberal conjuncture. It will import mainly analyze the second term of Governor rionegrino, because it is the juncture in which warn more clearly linked to neoliberal marks the notion of hegemony.
