De la enfermedad a la calidad de vida por el movimiento
Keywords:

This paper explores movement impairments in individuals with Parkinson’s disease and their impacts
on quality of life. It discusses physical activity as a rehabilitation strategy grounded in the concepts of
paradoxical kinesia and environmental affordances. The paper advocates for the development of
community-based support and action groups that integrate physical and social activities aimed at
promoting motor rehabilitation and creating de-stigmatizing environments. Such initiatives are proposed
to enhance participants’ quality of life and strengthen their sense of agency. Additionally, it highlights
the therapeutic potential of paradoxical kinesia and its application to improving mobility and
communication from a relational perspective of human behavior.
