El concepto de comprensión en Max Weber.

Abstract

El objetivo de este artículo es presentar una dilucidación sobre el concepto de comprensión en el pensamiento de Max Weber. Se hace hincapié en la distinción entre ciencia social y ciencias naturales, se caracteriza la importancia de los tipos ideales y se demarcan los ámbitos de la ciencia y la comprensión. Se sostiene la hipótesis de que lo distintivo entre la ciencia y la comprensión es la captación del sentido y el valor de la vida.
Abstract
The aim of this paper is to present a clarification of the concept of understanding in the thinking of Max Weber. It emphasizes the distinction between social science and natural science, the importance of ideal types is characterized and areas of science and understanding are demarcated. Hypothesized that the distinctiveness between science and understanding is capturing the meaning and value of life is sustained.
