Management Dynamics of Internationalization at a Brazilian Public University: Reflections and Proposals for a Counter-Hegemonic Internationalization
Keywords:
Higher Education, Public Policies, Counter-Hegemonic InternationalizationAbstract
This article aims to present the main institutional dynamics that have occurred within the scope of internationalization management at the Federal University of Ceará under different Brazilian political contexts. It is part of analyses derived from ongoing ethnographic research conducted as part of my PhD in Education, based on my involvement in this institutional locus as a technical-administrative staff member. Finally, reflections are made on the current state of the internationalization process at UFC, as well as proposals for the development of a counter-hegemonic, solidarity-based, inclusive, and regionalized internationalization.
