Main Article Content
Abstract
The singularity of the violence regime applied since the coup d’etat of 1976 was determined by the systematization of the practices of the kidnapping and forced disappearance of persons. It also states the beginning of a new way of demand and organization in the claim for the human rights.
In the city of Rosario, this claim started with the transformation of the practices and beliefs of the people who searched for the disappeared persons. This claim turned into the “Familiares de Detenidos y Desaparecidos por Razones Políticas y Gremiales” (Relatives of Disappeared and Arrested People for Political and
Trade-union Reasons) and the “Asamblea Permanente por los Derechos Humanos” (Permanent Assambly for Human Rights) organizations, during the last dictatorship times. Both groups were influenced by the collaboration of the “Liga Argentina por los Derechos del Hombre"(Argentinian League for the Rights of Man), which helped with the organization of these new organisms.
This article reconstructs the initial process of the human rights and relatives organizations’ ensambling and formation.
