Abstract

This article presents the results of the values ​​macro-survey applied in 2019 to 11,322 students from Latin America –526 of them from Argentina–, 1,041 Cubans and 2,476 Spaniards. The data have been compared with identical questions that were asked in 1993 to 36,516 Latin American schoolchildren –including 3,098 Argentineans– and 5,168 Spaniards. The topics covered are nationalism, prejudice, xenophobia and racism. Other topics that have been explored include negative and positive images of Spanish colonization in America, and the change in values ​​in America and Argentina from 1993 to 2019. All these topics are closely related to machismo, sexism, sexual morality, trust and confidence in institutions, political options, religiosity and degree of happiness
